Zinck

(Pole) A Nova Scotia heirloom variety from the family of Merle and Elaine Zinck. This variety was first introduced to Canadian gardeners by the Revival Seeds company. An excerpt from the original listing of Revival Seeds,
“This Nova Scotian family heirloom was gifted to us in 2017 from Merle & Elaine Zinck of Lunenburg County, NS. The Zinck family has known no other bean for over 75 years! […] a very prolific pole bean yielding many 7-9” green beans. An open pollinated descendent of what we suspect is a Kentucky Wonder Bean. […] This bean can be planted earlier in the spring than other pole beans. Delicious fresh, cooked, frozen, or dried for shell beans.” 1 (Revival Seeds)
