A variety named ‘Hodson Wax’, received listing in the 1909 (not present in a 1905) Forrest Seed Co. and 1918 Lapark Seed and Plant Co. seed catalogues. The Forrest Seed Co. was located in Cortland (Central New York), which lies in close proximity to the western New York Seneca people. 1 Whether it is the same variety is currently uncertain.
