Chaska Purple

(Bush) Chaska Purple was bred by Robert Lobitz of Paynesville, Minnesota. According to Russell Crow this Lobitz variety was,
“[…] named after the Chaska Purple softball team in the town of Chaska, Minnesota of which their team also uses the color purple on their uniforms.” 1
Chaska Purple’s seed colour dramatically ranges on the grey-purple spectrum. Its general colouring is either a very light purple or dark purple that fades to a light grey near the hilum.
