“French variety released in 1958. Grows staright green pods splash and streaked with purple markings. Can be eaten young as a snap bean.” 1
According to Garden Organic in the UK,
“Our donor acquired this very old French variety from the Tezier Freres Catalogue many years ago. Also known as Petit Gris, it is a very early variety producing a reliable crop of long, slim pods that are green streaked with purple. Best eaten young when the flavour is excellent. Seed colour pale cream to buff with purple stripes/speckling.” 2
