Are your seeds organic?
Our garden is grown organically. We do not use synthetic/biosynthetic sprays or fertilizers or biological sprays (e.g. Bacillus Thuringiensis).
Are your seeds non-GMO?
Yes, our seeds are non-GMO.
We am very selective and prudent with freely-pollinating species such as Zea mays (corn). For corn we use timed plantings and hand pollination methods to prevent GMO and cross contamination. Select corn varieties were sourced from Peru, which bans GMOs.
With the above being said we are not certified organic or have had testing done. In the future we hope to be able to offer this, but as a home hobby grower it is not feasible to at this time.
Do you ship outside Canada? (Shipping Policy)
If you are outside of Canada please contact me before ordering to discuss shipping. For most countries I am willing to attempt to ship to you. It is the responsibility of our customers to check their local guidelines for importing seeds. We do not provide refund or replacements if the package does not reach you.
* Please Note: Currently we do not provide phytosanitary certificates. In the future (time undetermined) we hope to provide this service.
When will my order ship? (Shipping Policy)
We ship orders within 1 to 2 weeks. We try our best (and often) ship promptly, but please understand that Nana’s Naturals is run on a hobby basis. You will receive an email from [email protected] once your seed order has been mailed!
When do I use ‘Roots & Bulbs’ postage?
The top of the product description will indicate if the product requires Roots & Bulbs postage. This is applied automatically to online orders.
Currently Roots & Bulbs postage only applies to orders that contain items from these categories:
Do you accept returns or offer replacements? (Guarantee Policy)
We do not accept returns. If a particular variety did not germinate well contact us at [email protected] and we will discuss replacement. If a package was seized by your local customs we do not provide returns or replacement.
For any other queries please contact us. We believe anything can be solved through communication.
Do you accept credit card for payment?
No, we do not take accept payment by credit card due to processing. We only accept cash, cheque, e-transfer, and money order.
The shopping cart is ’empty’ when I add an item
Our shopping cart uses cookies to be able to properly operate. If your browser is set to automatically block all cookies this will cause the cart to stop operating. If you are using Google Chrome, on your browser go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data > Select ‘Allow all cookies’ or ‘Block third-party cookies’.
If the problem persists, we also accept orders by email and mail via a PDF order form.

Nana’s Naturals started in the garden. We preserve heirloom vegetables, fruit, herbs, and grain. Our small hobby garden is located in the fertile Red River Valley of Manitoba.
