(Pole) This particular strain of Rassacher Kipfler was brought back from Europe by ethnobotanical explorer Joseph Simcox. It was shared with Woodstock, Illinois bean collector Russell Crow, whom received it as ‘Fisole Rassacher Kipfleer’. ¹ The Rassacher Kipfler is a west Styrian regional variety [“Süd-weststeirische Regionalsorte” ²]. ^{2, 3, 4, 5} It is a high yielding variety with medium to late maturation.
