(Bush) (Dragon Tongue, Merveille de Piemonte, Romano Bush)
Heirloom wax bean from the Netherlands, dating to the 19th century. Mature plants grow 6 – 8” long flat yellow pods with purple/magenta streaks. This variety is a very productive early producer, with good shade and heat tolerance. It is a rather forgiving variety so if you cannot pick beans right away the older ones are usually still tender.
