Sieva

(Carolina, Small White)
(Pole) Sieva was commercially sold as early as 1871 in the Vilmorin-Andrieux seed catalogue. This small white seeded variety has been cultivated since pre-Columbian times. It was well known circa 1700 in North and South Carolina. Pre-1750 Sieva was cultivated on the Monticello plantation.
Sieva’s short days to maturity make it an ideal variety for Canada.
Days to Maturity: 65-80 days
