Tendre I Seca De Cornudella

(Pole) A rare regional heirloom of Catalan origin. Used fresh and as a dry bean. Seeds are similar to Kahnawake Mowhawk with dark grey-brown swirls, except instead of a white base it is a light brown. This variety has been stewarded by the Cultures Trobades. The Cultures Trobades (in English “encounter cultures” or “meeting cultures”) is a Catalan preservation initiative founded in 2008 by the Slow Food Terres de Lleida.¹
