Description
Winner of the 1949 AAS selections. Early-producing cocozelle type zucchini that was selected by the University of Conneticut from the Italian Cocozelle. In 1949 it was introduced to home gardeners by F. H. Woodruff and Sons. Later used by the University of Conneticut as a parent variety for Black Beauty Zucchini (1957) and Storr’s Green Hybrid Zucchini.
